As a public school system, we welcome all students who live within the district's boundaries and meet state age and health requirements. For specific enrollment information, please contact your child's school. If you need to find out which school your child will attend, please use the School Finder to look up the attendance boundaries for your address.

Students new to LCISD for the 2026-2027 school year can register at the times/dates/locations listed below:

June 8 – July 16: Pre-K through 12th Grade Registration

Starting this summer, parents can complete the registration process through either:

• Virtual Online Completion: Parents can submit the above required documentation through the online portal by scanning the QR Code below or by clicking the button below:

• If you choose this option, you will be contacted within 3 business days to confirm your documentation (excluding district holidays or breaks).
• Please provide a phone number where you can be reached during business hours and/or an email address so we can correspond with you promptly.
• In-Person Completion: Parents can receive in-person assistance with the required documentation by visiting the Lamar CISD New Student Central Registration Center located in Lamar Junior High. The address and contact information for the New Student Central Registration Center is:

July 23 Onward:

• Grades 9-12: Turn in required documentation and complete the registration process at your zoned high school campus. Please visit the campus website for specific dates and times (Please visit lcisd.org and click on ‘Schools’ in the upper right corner).

If you will not be returning to THS in August 2026, please complete the form by clicking the red button below. Email the completed form and a picture of your ID to THSenroll@lcisd.org. We will use this information to notify your student that they are a no-show. If you require additional information for enrollment elsewhere, please contact us starting Monday, July 13th. NOTE: From June 12 to July 9, the registrar's office is closed. You can send in the withdrawal request; however, the response will be received after July 9.

1. Please complete the withdrawal form linked below and return it to THSenroll@lcisd.org with a copy of the parent/guardian's photo ID to verify identity.

• The withdrawal request with the student's name
• Student ID number
• Name and location of the school where I will attend
• Last date/day will attend Terry High School
• Attach a copy of the parent/guardian's photo ID to verify identity. 

The registrar's office will respond with the withdrawal process timeline and, once the process is complete, will email the parent/guardian a withdrawal packet containing the student's schedule, report card, unofficial transcript, and immunization records.

The Registrar's office is closed June 12 - July 9. Any transcripts requested will be processed after July 9, when office staff returns.

Currently enrolled students can use SchooLinks to request transcripts or download a personal copy.

Driver’s License VOEs

A Verification of Enrollment (VOE) form is required in Texas for students under 18 who are applying for a learner’s permit or driver’s license.

During summer months the Department of Public Safety will take verification of enrollment by using the end of year report cards.Students and parents can access the report cards from the Skyward Family access account via the Portfolio. If you have any questions, please contact the Terry High School front office at 832-223-3400.

Assurance of Dual Residency and Affidavit of Bona Fide Lamar CISD Residence expire at the end each school year. You must provide required verification you have established your own residence, or you and the Lamar Consolidated ISD resident must complete an updated Parent/Guardian Assurance of Dual Residency and an Affidavit of Bona Fide Lamar CISD Residence. If renewing Dual Residency for the 2026-2027 school year, the following additional documents will be required:

· Homeowner: Valid Texas Driver’s License or state issued ID

· Homeowner: Proof of Residence (current gas, water, electric bill or deed / lease papers)

· Parent: Valid Texas Driver’s License or state issued ID (with homeowner’s address)

· Parent: Current Utility Bill or Mail in Parent’s Name (at homeowner’s address)

Please note the address on all of the required documents must match. Failure to provide the above listed district forms and required documents or providing unverifiable and/or false documentation will result in your child’s withdrawal.

Please contact central registration at 832-223-0197 to schedule an appointment in which you (Parent/Legal Guardian) and the LCISD resident owner may submit and notarize the required forms and required documentation for the 2026-2027 school year.

Power of Attorney Affidavit will expire at the end of the school year. You and the Lamar Consolidated ISD resident/agent must complete an updated 2026-2027 Power of Attorney Affidavit and an Affidavit of Bona Fide Lamar CISD Residence.  If renewing Power of Attorney for the 2026-2027 school year, the following additional documents will be required:

Please note the LCISD resident will become the primary contact -- and, hence, will be listed as Family #1 in Skyward. Please be aware of the following requirement for Power of Attorney within Lamar CISD.

…I understand that if I am a resident of Lamar CISD, regardless of the address at which the Agent resides, the student will attend the campus to which my residence is zoned. If I am not a resident of Lamar CISD, the student will attend the campus for which the Agent’s residence is zoned. Additionally, I understand that a completed Affidavit of Bona Fide Lamar CISD Residence must be filed with this Power of Attorney Affidavit and that district law enforcement, or other personnel may verify residency. If the child (ren) cease to be in residence within the boundaries of Lamar CISD during the current school year, the District may charge the maximum tuition fee allowed under Texas Law for the period during which the ineligible child(ren) was enrolled.
