You must complete following prior to your appointment. Failure to complete any of these steps could result in your being rescheduled. Please bring all hard copy (paper) documents to your enrollment meeting.

New to Lamar CISD, complete Steps #1 – #4

Necessary Registration Documents:

• Proof of Address:  parent/legal guardian's current utility bill with service address listed (gas/water/electric); will also accept lease agreement listing parent(s) and student or finalized home closing documents if a utility bill is unavailable
• Copy of parent's ID (Example: driver's license, passport, military ID)
• Student's birth certificate
• Immunization Record
• Withdrawal Paperwork from the student's last school
• LCISD Dual Residency Paperwork (if applicable, please email the Central Registration Office at Registration@lcisd.org for this packet as it will need to be completed and notarized before your appointment).
• LCISD Power of Attorney Paperwork (if applicable, please email the Central Registration Office at Registration@lcisd.org for this packet as it will need to be completed and notarized before your appointment)

If your student needs to be withdrawn from Terry High School, please fill the withdrawal form by clicking on the button below. Someone from the Registar’s office will contact you once the form is recieved.

Withdraws can also be done in person at Terry High School. Please make sure to bring your photo ID with you.

SchooLinks

The quickest way for your transcript to be sent and received is digitally through SchooLinks. This is avaliable to students who graduated in 2022 or later. Students who didn’t graduate from GRHS or who graduated earlier than 2022 must use our transcript portal.

Note: Do not use your LCISD login on the SchooLinks website. All students entered a personal email into SchooLinks their senior year before graduating. That email will be your SchooLinks login email. If this is your first time logging in as an alumni, or you don’t remember your password, use the forgot password feature. If you have further issues, you can utilitze the chat feature at the bottom right of the login screen.

Transcript Portal

Our transcript Portal is best for transcripts that need to be picked up or mailed from Terry High School. Please allow 48 hours for processing. You will receive a notification when your transcript is ready for pickup or has been mailed. 

During all school holidays or scheduled closures, requests will not be processed until staff return.

Picking Up Transcripts
    Picture ID is required to pick up transcripts, and will only be released to the individual.  If you are sending a representative to pick up your transcript, they must have the following:
      1.  Copy of your driver's license or picture ID.
      2.  Written authorization from you to release the transcript to the representative.  
      3.  Representative's driver's license or picture ID.

Please remember that universities and the NCAA Clearinghouse may take a minimum of 10 working days to process transcripts once they have been received.

NCAA Clearinghouse - you must register at the NCAA Eligibility Center before transcripts can be uploaded into the system. These transcripts are requested the same way as any others using the methods above.

Driver’s License VOEs

A Verification of Enrollment (VOE) form is required in Texas for students under 18 who are applying for a learner’s permit or driver’s license. The VOE verifies that the student is enrolled in school and in good standing.

VOEs at THS are done digitally and will be emailed back to you once complete. You will receive 2 emails from Informed K12. The first one will say SUBMITTED and will not have your completed VOE. Wait for the one that says COMPLETED. Example below.

Social Security VOEs

If you need Social Security Form SSA-1372-BK signed by a school official, please make sure all sections (1 through 8) are filled out on the “student statement regarding school attendance” section before bringing the forms to THS for signatures. The forms can be dropped off at THS during normal busines hours for the registrar to sign. Once the signature is obtained, we can send the form home with the student or call you to let you know they are ready for pick up. 

All Other VOEs and Letter Requests

For all other VOE types and letter requests, please email your request to THSenroll@lcisd.org. Please include the students full Name and ID# or date of birth. Please also include the  information needed for the letter and a copy of your ID.

Assurance of Dual Residency and Affidavit of Bona Fide Lamar CISD Residence expire at the end each school year. You must provide required verification you have established your own residence, or you and the Lamar Consolidated ISD resident must complete an updated Parent/Guardian Assurance of Dual Residency and an Affidavit of Bona Fide Lamar CISD Residence. If renewing Dual Residency for the 2026-2027 school year, the following additional documents will be required:

· Homeowner: Valid Texas Driver’s License or state issued ID

· Homeowner: Proof of Residence (current gas, water, electric bill or deed / lease papers)

· Parent: Valid Texas Driver’s License or state issued ID (with homeowner’s address)

· Parent: Current Utility Bill or Mail in Parent’s Name (at homeowner’s address)

Please note the address on all of the required documents must match. Failure to provide the above listed district forms and required documents or providing unverifiable and/or false documentation will result in your child’s withdrawal.

Please contact central registration at 832-223-0197 to schedule an appointment in which you (Parent/Legal Guardian) and the LCISD resident owner may submit and notarize the required forms and required documentation for the 2026-2027 school year. Documentation must be submitted to Central Registration.

In-Person Completion: Parents can receive in-person assistance with the required documentation by visiting the Lamar CISD New Student Central Registration Center located in Lamar Junior High. The address and contact information for the New Student Central Registration Center is:

Power of Attorney Affidavit will expire at the end of the school year. You and the Lamar Consolidated ISD resident/agent must complete an updated 2026-2027 Power of Attorney Affidavit and an Affidavit of Bona Fide Lamar CISD Residence.  If renewing Power of Attorney for the 2026-2027 school year, the following additional documents will be required:

Please note the LCISD resident will become the primary contact -- and, hence, will be listed as Family #1 in Skyward. Failure to provide the above listed district forms and required documents or providing unverifiable and/or false documentation will result in your child’s withdrawal from B.F. Terry High School.

Please contact central registration at 832-223-0197 to schedule an appointment in which you (Parent/Legal Guardian) and the LCISD resident may submit and notarize the required forms and required documentation for the 2026-2027 school year.  You may submit your documentation to Central Registration.

Please be aware of the following requirement for Power of Attorney within Lamar CISD.

…I understand that if I am a resident of Lamar CISD, regardless of the address at which the Agent resides, the student will attend the campus to which my residence is zoned. If I am not a resident of Lamar CISD, the student will attend the campus for which the Agent’s residence is zoned. Additionally, I understand that a completed Affidavit of Bona Fide Lamar CISD Residence must be filed with this Power of Attorney Affidavit and that district law enforcement, or other personnel may verify residency. If the child (ren) cease to be in residence within the boundaries of Lamar CISD during the current school year, the District may charge the maximum tuition fee allowed under Texas Law for the period during which the ineligible child(ren) was enrolled. Additionally, this Power of Attorney DOES NOT fulfill UIL athletic requirements for legal guardianship – please contact the LCISD Athletic Department for more information…
